That's a really good painting, I love your bold usage of colour, you have clear and strong shapes, and yet everything blends together well, and creates a nice early morning mood. The composition works too, I would only like something to bring the eye back into the image, after it followed the riders to the lower left of the painting.
and one thing that bugs me a bit is the path, it looks a bit toooo rough if you ask me. some refining and harder edges would do good there.
otherwise nice work, well done!

The early morning light here is captured perfectly! Ah, I love that light, and I love how you managed to create such a solid.. tangible feeling of an early cold morning. You can feel the chill in their body positions. The details are great, the fabric, especially, is gorgeous, and the composition is unusual - the riders don't look back, but all we see is where they come from, not where they are headed, to be starting their travels.

It tells a complete, and interesting, story. Keep it up!
